Saturday 26th April – WISA GALA!
Dear All,

Thank you very much for the invite to perform in this years Wisa Gala. As you know, we made a very brave and important decision to relocate our training to Lyon, France earlier this year. After much thought and consideration, also based on the advise from WISA, we have decided not come home for this occasion. We collectively decided that as we have only been training in the Academy for a few weeks, it was in our best interest to stay and continue our training regime in France. We are working to better our results on last year, defend our Welsh title and hopefully make you all proud. We are back in June for our ‘Summer Break’ and we will be back in rink to see you all then.

Sorry we can’t be with you, we are thinking about you.

Love and best wishes

Louise & Owen

Wednesday 23rd April
We perform as guest skaters in Lyon at the Genrali Ice Show Tour!!!
Slightly unexpected, but much to our delight we are asked to skate an exhibition at this show. With less that 24 hours notice we resurrect our 2007 Original Dance. It is an electric atmosphere as we perform to a full stadium with over 3000 people. Our fellow performers include Fredric Dambier, Julia Obertas and Sergey Slavnov, Rori Flack, Fernand Fedronic and the shows presenter Annick Dumont

Monday 7th April
Original Dance & Freedance music are decided!
We are very excited as both selections of music are very different to what we have done before.

Wednesday 2nd April
We accidently appear on French television with famous skating star Phillipe Candeloro!
As our French is not wonderful yet, the situation was quite amusing – we had no idea what was going on!!!

THANK-YOU

We would just like to take this opportunity to thank all the people that have sent us gifts, cards and best wishes for our move.  It was very difficult to say good bye but we will be back to see you all soon. Your support is invaluable and we hope to make you all very proud.

Love and Best Wishes

Saturday 29th March
We move to France today!
We have decided to relocate our training to Lyon France with Muriel Zazoui and Romain Haguenauer.  This was a big decision for us but we have no doubts that this is the right one.  We will still be representing the UK and WISA and we will be back in the UK frequently to see friends, family and of course perform.

Monday 10th March
Louise's last Ice Times Show!
After a great deal of thought and consideration, it was agreed that this was to be my last show with Nicky Slater.  Unfortunately as the shows were not local to where Owen and I train, the remaining shows would impose too much on our preparation for the next competitive season.  I have had so much fun and I have loved working with Nicky, I will miss the show and the team I have worked with immensely.

Sunday 9th March
Deeside Mini Annual Event 2008!
We performed our Viennese Waltz and Paso Doble Compulsory Dances.  We perform well and enjoy seeing many friendly faces.

Wednesday 31st January
Ice Times!!!
Louise performs the first date of the Ice Times tour.  This is a show with Nicky Slater telling the story of skating from Victorian Times to Dancing On Ice.  The show is perfect for all the family, it is planned to run for 14 days around the UK and details can be found at www.nickyslater.com  No need to panic though this is not the beginnings of a professional career, just a project in the off season.  Great experience and jolly good fun.
