Official 'Thank-Yous'!
We would like to sincerely thank each and every person that has supported us this season. Those of you who took time and money to encourage us and believe in us through out the past year, we would have not have had the success without you. You are an important part of our team and support network and we are very grateful. Here's to next season!!!
Saturday 12th January
Our season comes to a sucessful end!
Today we have finished the last section of the British Senior Ice Dance Competition 2008. We are proud to have a very good competition with very good skating and finish 4th. Whilst we have to admit we hoped that we may finish in a medal position, we total over 30 points more than this time last season. Overall we have had a season to be extremely proud of and have gained recognition for our vast improvement in the past 12 months. We will be back next season competiting and pushing the boundries again. We have plenty more to offer and a whole lot more fight left in us yet!
Wednesday 26th December
We are off to France! Again!
In the lead up to the British Championships 2008, we have decided that we need to be surrounded by positivity and a competitive atmosphere, therefore whilst not easy, we pack our bags and leave our friends and familes over the festive period for hard training abroad.
Monday 19th November
We are the Welsh Senior Ice Dance Champions!!!!!!!!
We are pleased to announce that we reached our goal of winning the Welsh Senior Ice Dance Event 2007. We skated a great Original Dance earlier on in the day, but due to our technical element score we finished in 3rd place by 0.3 of a point. Despite our disappointment we still achieved an Original Dance personal best by over 3 points and due to our strong compulsory dance score we still remained in 1st place overall. Our Freedance performance was respectable but we felt that we could have skated it better. We had a couple of technical errors where we lost levels and suffered a 1 point deduction, obviously this then reflected in our programme component score. After an anxious wait for our marks and the official results, it was confirmed that we had won the Freedance and the competition overall. Our score exceeding our freedance personal best by several points and our overall personal best by around 14 points. The hard work now continues towards the British National Championships in January 2008.
Sunday 18th November
The Compulsory Dance - Argentine Tango!
We score a compulsory dance personal best by around 4 marks and finish in 1st Place.
Saturday 17th November
The Welsh Championship Draw!
Louise chooses 2nd to skate. We can cope with that one.
Friday 16th November
Exhibition at Somerset House!
We were comissioned to perform on and outdoor ice rink for an investment banking company. All went well, plenty of improvsation and pure performance. It was very nice for a change not to have to think whilst skating about elements, timings etc, but just perform for our audience.

Sheffield IJS!!
Again we get off to a great start and placed 2nd in the Compulsory Dance. Not a wonderful skate in the Original Dance, placing us 4th in that section, 2nd overall. A good solid performance in the Freedance gives us a final placing of 3rd. We end on a high and are very pleased, reaching a personal best by 12 points!

Our first National Event off the season - Lee Valley IJS!!

A contempory piece choreographed to Moulin Rouge, with point work and jazz dancing involved. Very interesting, particularly with the large circular flamenco skirts that were worn!!! Dancing with that combination really was easier said than done.

Blackpool Ice Gala!
What a delight to be invited to skate at such an event. We performed an exhibition to an Evanesence track called My Immortal. We both love this piece of music and really feel the emotion when we skate to it. We performed very well and really enjoyed the experience very much. Thank you Blackpool and best wishes to all our friends who performed at the gala also.
